About the Artist
Matt Dent is a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute,
and has had a 15 year career in graphic design, illustration,
and animation.
"Willy Who…" was born in 1991, as inspired by an old
college friend of Matt's who seemed to be the
embodiment of everything rude and ridiculous (yet slightly
endearing). The first sketches of Willy were much more
rudimentary, but since then, "Willy" has gone through
many changes. Despite these changes, the root of the
character stays the same -- no matter where you go and
what you do in life, there's always a Willy Who!
Matt lives in South Carolina with his wife.
